Technical Theater

Technical Theater Advanced

The Technical Theater curriculum is a hands-on, lab and project based program where students see their hard work come to life, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment. Students will study and apply knowledge to real-time situations. They learn problem-solving skills, teamwork, and how to meet deadlines.

In Technical Theater, students learn the basics of set design, props, costumes, make-up, lights, sound, stage management, house management and Technical Theater careers.

Advanced Students apply their knowledge to production scenarios in real crew positions. They learn to expand on their interests in designing and building sets, lighting, sound, makeup, costumes etc.

Many of our students have gone on to excel in college and relevant careers in the industry.
