Let's BOOST them up

Financially, the Mira Costa Drama/Tech Program

is almost entirely supported by parents and the community. That support is spearheaded by our robust boosters organization. We are proud to back one of the most comprehensive high school theater programs in the region. Your donations and volunteer efforts give our students industry-level exposure
and ensure in-class curricular support and quality production values.

One out of every ten jobs in California is a creative job. In Southern California, that number increases
to one out of every five. Mira Costa's Drama/Tech productions are a synthesis of every VAPA (Visual
and Performing Arts) subdiscipline, from dramatic arts, music, and dance to visual and media arts. Thanks to the support of our boosters, parents,
and community, our graduates have been accepted into theater programs and prestigious schools all around the world.

Volunteering

How to get involved

While students and staff are busy putting hundreds of hours into production, what better way to support them than by volunteering. Whether you take on a Board position or bring snacks to an event, you can make a difference. There is truly something for everyone.

Volunteering is a great way to meet other Drama/Tech parents. And we all know that during show season your kids may just be a blur as they come and go with their busy schedule. Volunteering gives you the chance to stay involved in their lives while supporting a worthy cause.
